Confirmed! Release date of Keerthy Suresh’s Miss India

Talented beauty Keerthy Suresh managed to bag glowing praises for her brilliant portrayal as Savitri in the yesteryear heroine’s biopic titled Mahanati. The Nag Ashwin directorial also fetched her, the Best Actress trophy at the 66th National Film awards. Presently busy with a pipeline of big-ticket films in Telugu and Tamil, the 27-year-old actress will be next seen in the female-centric project titled Miss India.Directed by debutante Narendra Nath, the shooting of the film has been wrapped up a while ago and finally, the makers have sealed the release date.
According to reports, Miss India will be hitting the screens in the Telugu states on April 17 with the US premiers scheduled on April 16. Starring Jagapathi Babu, Naveen Chandra, Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, Bhanushree Mehra, Poojitha Ponnada, Kamal Kamaraju and Nadhiya in supporting roles, the music of the film is composed by S Thaman.
Bankrolled by East Coast Productions, Miss India will feature Keerthy Suresh in multiple avatars across various timelines. Besides shedding a considerable amount of weight, the Chennai-born actress did extensive research on her role and what type of costumes her character demands.
On the occasion of Keerthy’s birthday in 2019, the makers of Miss India have unveiled a special BTS video on social media. Titled as Birthday Song Teaser, the 60-second clip featured the behind-the-shoot moments of Miss India and as expected, the cute bombshell dominates the proceedings with her ravishing screen-presence.
