From 'Khiladi' to 'RT 69,' 4 upcoming movies of Ravi Teja

There might be a temporary shutdown at the movies due to the coronavirus pandemic, but mass maharaja Ravi Teja has made sure he treats his fans with back-to-back projects once theatres resume, and it’s relatively safer to step out. One of the busiest actors in Tollywood, Ravi has as many as four films waiting to hit theatres. While a couple of movies are being filming, some are still under pre-production. Here’s a list of Ravi Teja’s upcoming films:

Ravi Teja, reportedly, plays a dual role in Khiladi. Directed by Ramesh Varma, the film is touted to be an action crime thriller that will see Meenakshi Chaudhary and Dimple Hayathi in female lead roles. Ravi Teja’s first look from Khiladi was unveiled in October last year. The teaser of Khiladi features Ravi Teja in an intense avatar. Bankrolled by Pen Movies and A Studios LLP, the film has cinematography by Sujith Vaassudev and GK Vishnu. Devi Sri Prasad is on board as the music composer, with editing by Amar Reddy Kudumula.

After Khiladi, Ravi Teja and debutant director Sarath Mandava will join hands for the actor’s 68th film, titled Rama Rao On Duty. This much-awaited film will feature Divyansha Kaushik as the female lead. The first look of one of Ravi Teja released on Monday, and in the picture Ravi Teja looks stylish as ever dressed in formals with sunglasses on. The star actor will be seen in a power-packed avatar in the film, which will have music by Sam CS. Sudhakar Cherukuri is producing the film under the banner SLV Cinemas LLP in association with RT Teamworks.

This comedy-thriller stars Ravi Teja in a lead role. It marks his first collaboration with filmmaker Trinadha Rao Nakkina. Ravi Teja reportedly plays a detective in the film. There are reports that the film was heavily inspired by Chiranjeevi starrer Chantabbai. Tamannaah Bhatia has reportedly been approached to play the leading lady, but she is yet to sign on the dotted line. The movie’s music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. While this project is taking shape, Ravi Teja is looking forward to completing Rama Rao On Duty.

Ravi Teja is reportedly set to sign another film. According to several reports, the mass hero has decided to team up with filmmaker Maruthi for a comedy entertainer. If things fall into place, this will be the filmmaker’s first film with Ravi Teja. The Bhale Bhale Magadivoy helmer became the talk of the town when he wielded the microphone for the Venkatesh-starrer Babu Bangaram. Maruthi is currently working on the eagerly-awaited movie Pakka Commercial, which will mark his first collaboration with Gopichand.
