Character filled with aura

Kannada actor Yash rose to national superstardom with 'KGF: Chapter', Prashanth Neel's gritty action saga. As Rocky, he shattered stereotypes of Kannada cinema with a film that grossed over Rs 238 crore globally. And later dominated the box office, minted over Rs 1215 crore with its sequel 'KGF: Chapter 2'. The raw intensity and swagger avatar he brought to the role earned him a pan-India fan base, with the actor now leading massive projects like Ramayana, where he takes on the role of Raavan.

Yash in 'KGF'

In 'KGF', Yash's unforgettable look with long, untamed hair, rugged beard, and fierce eyes became iconic. Styled with both charisma and danger, his appearance as Rocky Bhai helped elevate the character into pop culture stardom. The vintage gangster and modern rebel created an instantly recognisable look, making it one of the most talked-about character designs in Indian cinema.

Poster of the Nitesh Tiwari directorial 'Ramayan'

The first glimpse of 'Ramayana', starring Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Yash as Lankesh or Raavan, was unveiled today and took the internet by storm. With high-quality VFX, the teaser looks like an epic tale that will be loaded with world-class visuals. Directed by National Award-winner Nitesh Tiwari, the film is a two-part saga set 5,000 years ago, reimagining one of the world’s most revered mythological epics. The film features Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. Sunny Deol essays Lord Hanuman, while Ravi Dubey plays Lakshman. This star-studded cast is supported by a world-class crew, including Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman, marking their first-ever collaboration.

How Yash looks in the poster

Yash's transformation into Lankesh in Ramayana is both bold and mesmerising. The poster reveals a fierce, imposing avatar of Raavan, his intense gaze, battle-ready posture, and dark armour making a powerful impact. As co-producer, Yash seems invested both on and off screen, and this debut is as the mythic anti-hero. Hollywood stunt coordinators Terry Notary and Guy Norris choreograph the action sequences, while production designers Ravi Bansal and Ramsey Avery bring a rich visual texture to the film.
