During the film's pre-release event, the makers made a decision to donate Rs 5 from every ticket sold for the film towards the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The announcement was made by mega star Chiranjeevi, who was the special guest at the film's event. Now, according to the reports of India Today, director Prashanth Varma has already donated Rs 14 laksh to the Ram Mandir trust.
The director in an interview with India Today, said that the film's producer is a very religious prson and they are devoted in every way. He added that when the producer heard of the temple being built in Ayodhya, they had made a decision to contribute money towards the temple's construction. He revealed that till now, the film makers have donated Rs 14 laksh to the temple and added that they are hoping for the film to pick up well so they might be able to donate in crores to the temple.
