Kathanam Teaser: Anasuya Bharadwaj looks kickass in this crime-thriller

One among the few celebrity women to make it big on the silver screen, the ravishing Anasuya Bharadwaj has become a household name in the Telugu states with her glamourous & convincing stint as a TV host-cum-actress. After sizzling for a special number in F2 and playing a pivotal role in Yatra, the 33-year-old actress will be seen as the female lead in the upcoming film ‘Kathanam’.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the makers have unveiled the teaser of ‘Kathanam’ and it looks promising with thrilling elements all-through the clip. Showcased in an intense and emotional avatar, Anasuya plays an assistant director who gets suspected as a culprit in a murder, as all the proceedings take place according to her penned script for a feature film. She also performed quite a few stunts in the teaser and looked kickass.
Directed by Rajesh Nadendla and jointly produced by B Narendra Reddy & Sarma Chukka, the music for the film is composed by Sunil Kashyap.
Post her cameo in Nagarjuna’s ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, the dynamic bombshell shifted her focus to cinema and stepped into the shoes of ACP Jaya in ‘Kshanam’. Despite her maiden full-length role, she delivered an applaud-worthy performance in the mystery-thriller and garnered big accolades. After a visual treat to the masses with her spectacular special number in ‘Winner’, Anasuya appeared in the pivotal role of Rangammatta in Sukumar’s period-drama ‘Rangasthalam’. Her transformation is phenomenal in the film and she managed to silence her critics with a rock-solid act.
