Veteran Tollywood actor,
Kota Srinivasa Rao has strongly reacted to rumours on his deteriorating health, saying that he is deeply hurt by media reports.
The actor convened a press conference recently in Hyderabad to clarify that his health is perfect and stable now, adding that it’s very natural for him at the age of 74 to have some ailments. He further added that he has diabetic and arthritis, but the media reports have caused lot of pain, confusion and agony among his family members, relatives and friends.
Slamming the media personnel for their overreaction, the actor said, even going for a routine medical check-up could attract media’s attention.
“I have no health complications. Please understand,” said Srinivasa Rao in his appeal to media. After making his debut in 1978with the Telugu movie Pranam Khareedu , the actor went on to act in hundreds of movies in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. He was widely appreciated for his roles in Attarintiki Daredi, Dookudu, Rakta Charitra and Leader to name a few.
