Lavanya to play the role of psychiatrist in 'Project Z'

Well-known producer CV Kumar's directorial debut ‘Maayavan’ starring Sundeep Kishan is all set to hit the screens on December 14. The much-delayed crime thriller will be simultaneously released in Telugu as ‘Project Z’.
In a recent media interaction, Lavanya Tripathi who is essaying the role female lead revealed that she is playing a psychiatrist who will help Sundeep Kishan in tracking down a murderer. Lavanya went on to reveal that she watched several crime documentaries to get into her character.
Directed and produced by CV Kumar, the film will have Jackie Shroff playing the role of an antagonist, while Sundeep will essay the role of a cop. Touted to be a murder mystery thriller, Maayavan has Daniel Balaji, Jayaprakash, Mime Gopi, Baghavathi Perumal and Akshara Gowda in pivotal roles. Ghibran has composed music for the film.
