'Mega 154': Chiranjeevi's next with director Bobby set for Sankranti 2023 release

Mythri Movie Makers is ready to cash in on Sankranti festivities for their film, starring megastar Chiranjeevi. The film, which is tentatively titled Mega 154 will release in January 2023, on the occasion of Sankranti.

Director Bobby took to his social media and announced the same. He wrote, ''This time it’s going to be a MEGA festival! Make way for MASS MOOLA VIRAT for this Sankranthi 2023. The project marks Chiranjeevi’s first collaboration with Bobby. The shooting for the film is currently progressing at a fast pace in Hyderabad. Shruti Haasan will be seen as the female lead opposite Chiru in the film. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music, and Arthur A Wilson will handle the cinematography. GK Mohan is the co-producer of the movie. Niranjan Devaramane is the editor and AS Prakash is the production designer. Sushmita Konidela is the costume designer.


Billed as an out-and-out commercial action entertainer, Mega 154 is being bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. While the story and dialogue were written by Bobby himself, Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy penned the screenplay. The writing department also includes Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri. Rajendra Prasad and Vennela Kishore are playing significant roles in the movie.
