‘Mega158’ update: Rachita Ram to come on board as Honey Rose bows out of Chiranjeevi-Bobby Kolli film - Report

Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli are working together on the upcoming large scale mass entertainer, tentatively called, ‘Mega158’ or ‘Chiru158’. The makers have begun shooting of the film and if the latest reports are to be believed a new cast member is expected to be joining the sets.

Honey Rose reportedly opts out

According to a report by Cinema Express, the Kannada actress Rachita Ram will be joining the film. Earlier, Malayalam actress Honey Rose was reportedly signed to play an important role in the film. However, reports now suggest that she has stepped away from the project because of scheduling issues and prior commitments.The team is currently shooting in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. After Honey Rose’s exit, it is said that the makers approached Rachita Ram for her role. She is now expected to join the team and shoot her portions.

Cast of ‘Mega158’

Speaking of the cast members, the makers recently unveiled Anaswara Rajan playing a key role in the film. She is expected to be playing Chiranjeevi’s daughter. In addition to it actress Priyamani is also expected to be seen as a key member.The film marks his second collaboration with director Bobby Kolli after the huge success of ‘Waltair Veerayya’. Earlier, the same media outlet revealed that Bobby Kolli has designed the film on a much larger scale than his previous projects. The story is said to feature high-voltage moments and a powerful character for Chiranjeevi.The music is composed by S Thaman.

Release date rumours

The film is expected to be getting ready for a Sankranti release. However, it must be mentioned that official announcements are yet to be made.
