‘Peddi’: Makers share birthday post for Jagapathi Babu; Call his role Appalasoori a ‘highlight of the film’

Jagapathi Babu will be seen in the upcoming Ram Charan starrer ‘Peddi’ directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The makers on his birthday today went to share their wishes, calling his performance “one of the highlights of the film.”Sharing a picture from the sets, Jagapathi Babu is seen in his get-up as he plays the character Appalasoori. He is seen sitting with director Buchi Babu Sana as they seem to be discussing and talking. His performance as 'APPALASOORI' will be one of the highlights of the film. #PEDDI WORLDWIDE RELEASE ON 30th APRIL, 2026.” In December last year, the makers released the first look of Jagapathi Babu’s character. He looks to be playing an aged character from the village. He keeps an intense and angry look on his face, wearing glasses. A few days ago, the makers announced that the film has been delayed and it will be hitting the big screens on April 30, 2026. Sharing a poster of the film, he wrote, “The date of his arrival changes, but not his MIGHTY GRIT. #PEDDI WORLDWIDE RELEASE ON 30th APRIL, 2026.” Ram Charan is playing the lead role in Peddi. He recently shared gym pictures and showed how serious he is about the film. On January 17, he wrote, “Fired up. Working in silence!!! Ready for the next challenge @peddimovie.”Janhvi Kapoor plays the female and also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Boman Irani and others. AR Rahman is composing the music.
