Two decades ago, at the age of 20, Devi Sri Prasad made his debut as the music director with Kodi Ramakrishna’s devotional-fantasy film ‘Devi’. After rousing to fame with the coming-of-age ‘Anandam’ (2001), there has been no looking back for the talented composer in Telugu and Tamil cinema. With superhit albums like Kalusukovalani, Varsham, Arya, Arya 2, Iddarammayilatho, Nannaku Prematho and many more, the 40-year-old singer-cum-lyricist turned into the most sought after music directors down South.

During the recently concluded 66th Yamaha Fascino Filmfare Awards South, Devi Sri Prasad won his ninth Black Lady in the Best Music Director category for ‘Rangasthalam’. He also topped the list as the musician with the highest number of Filmfares in Telugu cinema.

At present, Devi is hands-full in Tollywood with Sarileru Neekevvaru, Uppena, Good Luck Sakhi, Rang De and Allu Arjun’s project with Sukumar.
