Celebrations around the release of Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’ hit a different note, as fans of the actor brought crocodiles to theatres. Yes, you read that right. Crocodiles. In the past, we have seen
Paal Abhishekam, where fans pour milk on cutouts, but this time around, they skipped milk for fake crocodiles.
Crocodiles at ‘The Raja Saab’ screening
Ahead of the release of ‘The Raja Saab’, there were fan shows across the country. A video clip of fans carrying a fake crocodile to recreate a scene from the film has now taken the internet by storm. In the clip that’s going viral, the fans are seen carrying fake crocodiles to the theatres.
Is it another AI-generated video clip? It’s not. A fact check by Grok confirms it. "The video is real, capturing Prabhas fans in a theater holding toy crocodiles as a fun nod to a movie scene where he fights one. It's not live animals—just enthusiastic fan props for The Raja Saab release."

All about ‘The Raja Saab'
Prabhas starrer ‘The Raja Saab’ has finally hit the big screens today, January 9, after multiple postponements. The film is written and directed by Maruthi. Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani have roped in to play pivotal roles in the film. Actors Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and veteran Zarina Wahab are also part of the film.
Despite the hype, the film is receiving mixed responses from the audience. While Prabhas’ performance in the film has impressed the moviegoers, many have expressed that the writing falls short, which has tremendously affected the film. The film, mounted on a budget of Rs 400-450 crore, is expected to earn Rs 100 crore on the opening day, trade analyst Ramesh Bala told NDTV. ‘The Raja Saab’ also marks Prabhas’ first release of 2026.
