Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela got married in 2012 and are already parents to their daughter Klin Kaara, who was born in 2023. Now, they have a boy and a girl as Megastar Chiranjeevi announced on his social media handle. He shared that both babies and Upasana are healthy. He called it a “divine blessing” for the family amid fan felicitations. He also wrote, “Welcoming these little ones into our family is a moment of pure joy and divine blessing for us as grandparents. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers, love, blessings and good wishes.” Speculation came in during Diwali 2025 via Upasana's Seemantham video, where he teased "double the celebration."

Another celebrated couple from the South Indian film fraternity, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, welcomed their twin sons Uyir and Ulag via surrogacy in October 2022, just months after their wedding in the same year. The couple had met on the sets of ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’. They also shared that their name, Uyir, means “life” and Ulag means “world”. The couple often takes pictures of their family spending time together and during multiple festive occasions. Onam 2025 photos captured the twins in dhotis enjoying sadya feasts.

Telugu actor and filmmaker Vishnu Manchu, coming from the prominent Manchu film family had welcomed daughters Ariaana and Viviana with his wife Viranica Reddy. They embraced parenthood in December 2011. The proud parents announced the names of their twins through social media. They revealed Ariaana means "divine and pure" while Viviana signifies "light and life" in Sanskrit and Latin. In his social media post, Vishnu Manchu wrote, “With the blessings of our parents, Vini and I have decided on the names of our twins. Ariaana Manchu and Viviana Manchu. Both of them have dimples (the only good quality in me) and they have the complexion of their mother. One looks like me and the other like Vini.”

Interestingly, the also marked their debut in their father's mythological epic, 'Kannappa' released in 2025.

Actress Namitha welcomed twin sons in August 2022. She had announced the news on Krishna Janmashtami through social media. She got married to businessman Veerendra Chowdhary in 2017 in a Tirupati wedding. She shared a video thanking Rela Hospital's Dr. Bhuvaneshwari and team in Chennai for the safe delivery. "Hare Krishna! We are delighted to share our happy news—blessed with twin boys," she wrote, seeking fans' blessings.
