Ram Charan wishes ‘Rangasthalam’ director Sukumar on his birthday; says, ‘Waiting to see you on the sets

Tollywood star Ram Charan shared his warm wishes to director and writer Sukumar, with whom he worked in the super hit ‘Rangasthalam’, on his 56th birthday. The ‘RRR’ star, who will be working again with the director, wrote, “Waiting to see you on the sets Very soon."

Ram Charan took to his Instagram handle to share a picture with Sukumar. He wrote, “Happy Birthday to my dearest @aryasukku. Have a wonderful year ahead. Waiting to See you on the sets Very soon.”

A successful ‘Rangasthalam’ bond

The two worked together in the village drama movie ‘Rangasthalam’, which turned out to be a blockbuster upon its release in 2018. The film also featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. It starred Ram Charan in a raw and rugged avatar.

Ram Charan’s upcoming films

Ram Charan is currently filming his next sports drama film,‘Peddi’, where he sports a similar rugged look. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film includes Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The film is currently in the shooting phase and will be released on March 27, 2026. It is set for a pan-India release.

‘RC17’ with Sukumar on cards

Interestingly, Ram Charan has assigned another film with Sukumar, which is tentatively named ‘RC17’. The movie is currently in the pre-production stage and will begin after Ram Charan completes his upcoming movie.

Allu Arjun also wished the director on his social media handle. He wrote, “Happy Birthday, @aryasukku darling. It’s a special day for me… more than for you… because this day changed my life. No amount of wishes can convey the joy of having you in my life. Puttinandhuku thanks!!!”

Actress Rakul Preet Singh also wished the director and wrote, “Warmest birthday wishes to you, Sukumar Sir. May your days be filled with good health, inner peace, and countless reasons to smile”.
