Happy Birthday Shanvi Srivastava: Check out the journey of the 'Lovely' actress in Tollywood

Actress Shanvi Srivastava turns 25 today on December 8. She has been a diva of Tollywood for as long as one can recall. Apart from her stunning looks, it was her energy and amazing screen presence which helped her amass a huge fan following since her debut. Arguably, she has floored people with her beauty and screen presence. Isn’t it? Having made her acting debut as a leading heroine in Tollywood film ‘Lovely’, Shanvi has worked in over 10 films in her seven-years acting career. While her films have always garnered attention for the roles she portrayed onscreen, it is a known fact that she hasn’t been approached by the leading filmmakers in the industry. Nevertheless, she continues to walk ahead holding her head high.

On the occasion of her birthday, check out the journey of the ‘Lovely’ actress in Tollywood.

Debut film

Shanvi Srivastava started her journey on the big screen with 2012 hit film ‘Lovely’, which was directed by B Jaya. She played Lavanya who falls in love with her internet friend Kittu played by Aadi and as usual, their love was opposed by her father. How the protagonist overcome the hurdles come in his way and achieve her love is the rest of the story. Her pet name in the film is Lovely and that was the reason the makers have kept the title same. The movie was produced by RR Venkat and BA Raju under the banner of RR Movie Makers.

When she plays Priya in 'Adda'

Shanvi became a household name after playing Priya in the 2013 film ‘Adda’, where she had essayed the love interest to Sushanth. She joins hands with a young bloke to build crevices between her elder sister and her boyfriend. She later realized that love is eternal. The movie is directed by Sai Karthik and produced by Naga Susheela and Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao under the banner of Sri Nag Corporation. Anup Rubens was the music director of the film, which has beautiful tracks to listen always.

She plays Sirisha in 'Rowdy'

She has been roped in for playing the love interest to Vishnu Manchu in 2014 film ‘Rowdy’, directed by Ram Gopal Varma. She had played Sirisha who stays in a ladies hostel for her studies. Even though she has a subtle role in the film, she had devoted herself with the character and put her insensible efforts to act in it with vibrancy. She often gets queries from fans to do such kind of roles in films. She might be now away from the limelight in Tollywood but she makes it a point to keep in touch with her fans and well-wishers.

She plays Yukta in 'Pyar Mein Padipoyane'

She then starred again alongside Aadi in ‘Pyar Mein Padipoyane’ in 2014. She portrayed Yukta who starts hating her childhood friend Chinna when he steals a valuable thing from her. With his silly tricks, Chinna tries very hard to make her fall in love with him and not succeeds in his attempts. Rest of the story is how they get united. The movie was helmed by Ravi Chavali and backed by KK Radha Mohan under the banner Sri Sathya Sai Arts. The film has music by Anup Rubens and cinematography was handled by T Surendra Reddy.

Future projects of the actress

Since 2014, the beautiful actress hasn’t signed yet another project so far. Not many know that she made her Tollywood debut while she was studying B.Com degree in Thakur College of Science and Commerce in Mumbai. After portraying in ‘Adda’, everyone in the industry thought that there was no looking back for her. But the entire scene was reverse. Indeed, expression-wise, she is a gem and she is one of the big assets for the film industry. Her upcoming projects are ‘Avane Srimannarayana’, ‘Geetha’, ‘Ravichandra’ and ‘Akhil’ in various languages.
