There have been reports that suggest that Prabhas starrer Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ makers are considering pushing their project to December to avoid a clash with Salman Khan’s film, which is locked for an Eid 2027 release. However, now the cop-action filmmakers have shared some clarity on their release date.
Maker’s official statement
The makers officially announced that the film is set to hit the theatres as planned, which is on March 5, 2027. They also shared that the film is very much on track, suggesting no delay in the production schedule.
This comes after there have been reported which suggested that the ‘Spirit’ might be getting delayed after Salman Khan’s upcoming project with director
Vamshi Paidipally and also starring Nayanthara, tenatively named ‘SVC63’, has locked an Eid 2027 release date.
About ‘Spirit’
Talking about ‘Spirit’, the movie is set to be a cop action drama, where Prabhas will be seen having one bad habit, as mentioned by the audio teaser. Later, the makers also shared the first look of the film on the New Year 2026, Prabhas in a very intense look with a wounded back. Triptii Dimri, who plays the female lead, is seen lighting his cigarette. The film also features Vivek Oberoi and introduces Aishwarya Desai in a big project.
With the March 5 release date, the film is also set to release in eight different languages.
About ‘SVC63’
Speaking of the Salman Khan starrer earlier on 1st April, the makers confirmed that the shoot has begun. Salman Khan himself shared an update as he posted a photo with director Vamshi Paidipally. He confirmed that the shoot will begin in April. He wrote, “Dil, Dimag, Jigar se from this April with @directorvamshi and #DilRaju #Shirish @srivenkateswaracreations @kuldeep_rathore18 #RafiKazi.”
