Prabhas’ plans for releasing films

During a recent interaction with the team of ‘Couple Friendly’, the ‘Baahubali’ actor spoke about releasing more films every year. When actor Santosh Sobhan praised his work, Prabhas shared his honest thoughts. He said, “I know what you all want. That’s why I’m trying to make three movies per year. But due to release schedules, only two are coming.” He mentioned that he tries his best, even if plans do not always work out.

Prabhas had planned to release three films in 2026, having worked on many projects simultaneously. But filmmaking takes time. Release dates also need space. Because of this, only two films will be released in 2026. Perhaps Prabhas accepted this without stress. He said the delay happened only because of release schedules.On the latest work front, Prabhas was last seen in ‘The Raja Saab’, a horror-comedy. Released during the Sankranti window, the film saw a low box office performance.

Prabhas in ‘Fauzi’

Prabhas will next be seen in 'Fauzi,' directed by 'Sita Ramam' director Hanu Raghavapudi, which is expected to hit the theatres during Dussehra 2026. Prabhas will play a soldier and star alongside Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Anupam Kher in key roles. It also marks the debut of the internet personality Imanvi, who will play the female lead opposite the ‘Salaar’ actor.

Prabhas’ next films

Prabhas is also working with ‘Animal’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on the upcoming action thriller ‘Spirit’. He will be seen as a cop with one bad habit. It is announced for release on March 5, 2027. Meanwhile, he will also work on the sequels of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Salaar’.Interestingly, Prabhas has also signed a three-film deal with the production house that backed ‘Salaar’.
