#SSMB28: Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde’s film with Trivikram Srinivas launched in Hyderabad

Superstar Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde’s upcoming film, the yet-to-be-titled #SSMB28 with director Trivikram Srinivas has been launched in Hyderabad.
The film’s team head to Ramanaidu Studios early on Thursday to launch the film and deliver the first clap in an event that was closed off to the public. Actress Pooja Hegde, Namrata Shirodkar, Trivikram and producer Naga Vamsi were spotted at the privately held launching ceremony.Mahesh Babu was not present at the event as it’s a sentiment of his to not attend his film’s launches, state sources. The actor had skipped the launch of Sarkaru Vaari Paata also.

This will be Mahesh’s third film with Trivikram. The duo had previously worked together for Athadu and Khaleja, the former of which remains a massive hit in his career. He also worked with Pooja Hegde in Maharshi, another one of the biggest hits in his career. In SSMB28, the actor is expected to show off a new look and fans can’t wait to know more. Regular shooting of the film will resume from April and the makers are planning to release it for Sankranthi next year. Thaman S will compose the music.

For now, Mahesh is busy with Parasuram Petla’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata with Keerthy Suresh as his co-star. The film is yet to wrap up shoot and is scheduled for release on May 12. He has also given his nod to SS Rajamouli for an adventure drama.
