Telugu actor Lakshmi Manchu calls motherhood her greatest joy; shares the best moments from her life in the 21st century

Telugu actor and filmmaker Lakshmi Manchu recently talked about the best moments of her life. As we bid our farewell to 2025 and basically a quarter of the 21st century, the ‘Lakshmi Bomb’ actress shared how these moments changed her as a person and made her stronger.

Motherhood is her biggest joy

During a conversation with IANS, Lakshmi Manchu said that the most special moment of her life was becoming a mother. She said, “Nothing, absolutely nothing, comes close.” She shared that motherhood changed said no award or praise can match the happiness of being a mother.




Lakshmi Manchu also said she loved the moment when she found her voice outside acting. She said she enjoyed hosting, producing, and making meaningful content. She said she stopped looking for approval from others. She said she started “owning my narrative.” She said, “Finding my voice beyond acting, hosting conversations, producing meaningful contents and creating platforms where stories matter this was a turning point, be it on YouTube Instagram movies, television OTT, I stopped chasing validation and started owning my narrative.”

Her NGO made her very happy

She said her heart feels full when she sees children learning. She said seeing “classrooms come alive” and kids gaining confidence gave her the deepest joy. She said work that helps people is more important than fame.



Lakshmi Manchu said she felt proud whenever she left her comfort zone. She said doing tough roles or speaking at hard times made her brave. She said, “Every time I chose courage, I found freedom.”

Staying Indian while working globally

Lakshmi Manchu said she worked in other countries but always stayed close to her Indian culture. She said this made her feel proud because Indian stories belong everywhere in the world. She also spoke about entering the industry when fame was given mostly to people with a big family name. She said talent and honesty are more important. She said digital platforms helped everyone get a chance.

She added, “The 21st century has taught me that reinvention isn’t betrayal it’s growth. And if the first quarter was about finding my footing, the next ones are about walking with clarity, confidence, and compassion.”
