Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Saturday said she has been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. The actor opened up about her condition on Instagram while thanking her fans for the overwhelming response to the trailer of her upcoming movie "Yashoda". Myositis is the name for a group of rare conditions that can cause muscles to become weak, tired and painful. It is usually caused by a problem with the immune system, where it mistakenly attacks healthy tissue. Samantha, 35, said her doctors are confident that she will make a complete recovery soon.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has announced his next film that it would be a political drama, not a biopic. The film has been titled 'Vyuham'. The topic of three capitals has become a debate in AP at present. After a long hiatus, filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi’s much-awaited film 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' resumed shooting last week, and now on Wednesday, lead star Pawan Kalyan started shooting for the remaining portions of the film. It was reported that the team including Pawan kickstarted rehearsals for resuming the shoot a couple of weeks ago. Now, the team entered the film set which was erected in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Pawan is participating in this crucial schedule.

Director K S Ravindra's upcoming action entertainer, featuring Telugu stars Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja in the lead, has been titled 'Waltair Veerayya'. The unit, which chose to announce the title of the much-awaited film through a teaser, also disclosed that the film would hit screens for the festival of Sankranti in 2023. The teaser of the film makes it clear that all those elements that fans expect in a Chiranjeevi movie will be there in 'Waltair Veerayya'. "Vaarasudu", starring Vijay, is slated to be released on the occasion of Makar Sankranti next year. The upcoming movie is directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Dil Raju and Shirish have produced the film under their production house Sri Venkateswara Creations. Paidipally ("Yevadu", "Maharishi") has penned the story of the movie, in association with Hari and Ashishor Solomon. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film is in the last leg of shooting.

Ravi Teja's much-anticipated movie "Ravanasura" will be releasing in cinema halls on April 7 next year. The actor, known for his blockbusters hits "Kick", "Sambho Siva Sambho", "Don Seenu" and "Krack", is essaying the role of a lawyer in "Ravanasura". Directed by Sudheer Varma, "Ravanasura", touted to be an action thriller, is penned by Srikanth Vissa. Abhishek Nama has produced the film under his banner Abhishek Pictures along with RT Teamworks.
