'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' box office collections day 3: Pawan Kalyan and Raashii Khanna film mints Rs 71.67 cr worldwide Crosses Rs 51 crore mark
Even with mixed word-of-mouth the film has comfortably crossed the Rs 50 crore mark.
Pawan Kalyan’s mass appeal continues to drive footfall especially in the Telugu-speaking regions. The film also features Sreeleela and R. Parthiban in key roles.
Piracy issue surfaces early
Meanwhile the film has faced a major setback due to piracy. Reports from Filmibeat say that 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' surfaced on multiple piracy platforms just a day after its release.
On the other hand, the makers had already taken legal precautions. As reported by The Statesman a court issued an ex-parte temporary injunction to protect the film.
The order includes a ‘John Doe’ clause that restricts anonymous individuals and platforms from spreading defamatory or misleading content. Overall 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' has delivered a strong opening despite mixed reviews and piracy issues. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan's previous film was 'OG' which received good reviews.
