'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' OTT release: When and where to stream Pawan Kalyan and Sreeleela's film
After the success of 'OG', the Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan played the titular role of Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna appear in key female roles and the supporting cast includes R. Parthiban, K. S. Ravikumar, Gautami, Nawab Shah, Rao Ramesh and Jayaprakash. The movie mostly received mixed reviews.
'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' is now all set to reach audiences on the small screen. The Pawan Kalyan starrer will begin streaming on OTT from April 16, 2026. The film, which hit theatres on March 19 coinciding with Ugadi, received largely negative feedback. It will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on the streaming platform.
'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' had a disappointing run at the box office. After 21 days, India net collection stands at Rs 72.13 Cr with India gross at Rs 84.68 Cr. Overseas markets added Rs 11.85 Cr to the total.
On day 21 the film collected Rs 15 lakhs. It earned Rs 16 lakhs each on day 19 and day 20 as per Sacnilk website reports.
ETimes review of the film reads, "The second half continues in a similar vein, with the narrative lacking grip and cohesion. Scenes feel stretched, and the emotional and dramatic beats don’t always hit with the intended impact. The film often feels like it is moving from one “hero moment” to another, without building a strong enough story to support them. However, both characters feel underwritten, limiting the impact they could have had on the story. The supporting cast, including seasoned actors, doesn’t get much scope either, with most roles functioning as extensions of the central narrative rather than fully developed characters."
Harish Shankar directed the action comedy an even though the PK starrer received mixed reviews when it hit the big screens, it is expected that the OTT release will boost the audiences traction towards 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh'.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the latest Hindi movies, upcoming Hindi movies in 2026 , and Telugu movies.”
