Vishwak Sen reveals a heartbreaking incident at the 'Gangs of Godavari' pre-release event

'Gangs of Godavari' is an action-packed drama film starring Vishwak Sen, Neha Shetty, and Anjali during the grand pre-release event held on Tuesday, May 28. The event, attended by the main cast and crew, was graced by the presence of Nandamuri Balakrishna as the chief guest.
During the event, the cast and crew shared their experiences working on the film. Vishwak Sen, the film’s lead actor, recounted a memorable incident that highlighted the support within the team.He recalled a particularly challenging moment during the shoot when he had a severe accident while practicing for a fight scene. Vishwak fell from a truck, landing knee-first on the road. He feared the worst, thinking he would be bedridden for months. Fortunately, after a visit to the hospital and some scans, it was confirmed that he was uninjured, much to his relief.

Vishwak said, "I will tell all of you an incident from the shoot of Gangs of Godavari itself. Generally, I don’t cry. As I’ve grown up, I’ve noticed that I’ve cried less."
He also shared a heartfelt phone call he received from Balakrishna shortly after the accident. He said, "He (Balakrishna) called me and spoke to me for 15 minutes. There was this harshness in this voice; I could tell that he was concerned for me."

He thanked Balakrishna, acknowledging the genuine care he had shown, which brought tears to his eyes.
Despite the warmth shared at the event, Balakrishna recently faced criticism for an incident involving Anjali during a promotional event for the film. A video is going viral of him pushing Anjali aside while preparing for a group photo, which drew backlash on social media.
'Gangs of Godavari,' featuring Vishwak Sen, Neha Shetty, and Anjali, is set to hit theaters on May 31.
