Khaidi No 150

Clashing with Balakrishna at the box office will be Megastar Chiranjeevi's comeback film ‘Khaidi No 150’, a remake of Vijay’s blockbuster ‘Kaththi’. The teaser of the action flick has broken all kinds of records online since its release. Chiru fans are really excited to finally watch the boss on the silver screen after a long sabbatical. With a good story and the actor’s amazing ability to sink into his character, ‘Khaidi No 150’ has the makings of a potential blockbuster.

Guru

Venkatesh Daggubati will be looking to capitalise early 2017 with the sports drama film ‘Guru’. The film is a remake of R Madhavan and Ritika Singh's starrer ‘Saala Khadoos’. Venkatesh will be seen playing the role of an ageing boxing coach, while Ritika, on the other hand, will reprise her character as in the original. Maddy carried ‘Saala Khadoos’ on his shoulders and since Venkatesh is more than capable of delivering brilliant performances, ‘Guru’ has a great chance of becoming a big hit.

Baahubali 2

This one needs no introduction of course. The SS Rajamouli epic action drama has always managed to stay in the news through the year, and as the April release draws near, you can expect the buzz to get louder. Touted to bigger, grander and more detailed than the first film, ‘Baahubali 2’ promises to raise the bar and make Indian cinema proud. Fans patiently waiting for their question, "Why Kattapa killed Baahubali?" might just get their answer in the summer flick.

Katamarayudu

Pawan Kalyan is a big name in Tollywood and any film he stars in, is worthy of a discussion. After the fiasco of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ in 2016, the Powerstar will be looking forward to making the most of the new year with ‘Katamarayudu’. It is an action flick that is touted to be the remake of Ajith’s ‘Veeram’.
