The clean roads and perfect infrastructure of Ahmedabad earned huge praise from the crowd of all other concerts of Coldplay when it wrapped up the two last shows in India. The British rock band played here on January 25 and 26 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Motera, after performing two successful shows in Mumbai.
Fans from all the corners of India came to this city to attend the electrifying performances, and several took to social media to comment on how amazing Ahmedabad's smooth traffic flow was and its modern amenities. For the final show, Chris Martin even spoke to the audience in Hindi, thanking them for their warm welcome and travel to come out and watch the concerts. His words; "Dhanyawaad pyaare dosto Aap sab ka bohat swagat hai hamare show me. Aap sabka bohat dhanyawaad ki aapne hume yaha perform karne ka mauka diya. Ahmedabad me aake hum bohat khushi ho rahi hai"—added to the special connection between Coldplay and their Ahmedabad audience.
Fans of Coldplay, who attended the band's last concerts in Ahmedabad, were left stunned by more than just the music. Many took to social media to share their surprise at how much the city had to offer. "Clean city, great friendly people, top-notch amenities for the concert. Absolutely phenomenal!" tweeted Vaibhav, while Sumukh Rao called Ahmedabad "fantastic" and praised its excellent roads, great food (minus the cheese), and super-fast travel times. "Only if the summers were more forgiving," he added. First-time visitor Manasi Chaudhari was equally impressed: "Wide roads, clean streets, well-planned riverfront, and metro access right to the stadium door! There were more metro riders than cars! From smooth concert logistics to a city full of surprises, Coldplay's visit helped spotlight Ahmedabad's charm—and now, the city's fans are just as loud as the music itself.
