'Kids in India too locked in': American tech founder reveals why he could have 'never' made it as a student in India
In India, there is no sport as tough and competitive as academics. While a cricket team might compete with another and a hockey one might rush for a goal, when thousands of students are attending school and sitting in hours of tuition, they are wired enough to defeat everything that comes in their way.
Recently, an American tech founder based in Bengaluru highlighted how competitive the academic playground in the country is. Taking to X, Tony Klor, the founder of the 'Bandit Network' said that he could have never made it as a student in India.
"This is why I could have never freaking made it as a student in India," he said while moving the camera to a result board on the road. "Look at the competition, Tanishka, 99.3%, Tanishka, leave a little bit for the homies," he joked.
"Ruchi got a straight 99 flat, these hudugis are on top always. Madhu 98.3, Madakari 97.5," he said shocked. "These are like radio stations, Shankraya Gurumath, obviously he's a guru at math, physics, 98," he added.
In the video that is quickly gaining traction on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote the caption: "These kids in India are too locked in."
"sadly even after studying this hard, so many students struggle to secure a high paying job," wrote one.
"You can't imagine How competative INDIA is Even candidates who score 99% percent not have the guarantee to get a tier 1 college," wrote another.
"Radio station joke is 99.9% good," quipped another.
"We all need to be as locked in as Tanishka was", added one.
"I remember that I got 96.4% in 10th but mere school walon ne keval 96.8% walon tak ki photo website par daali. I was so heartbroken," a viewer shared.
"Me watching this with 87% scores," joked one.

Social media reactions
Numerous viewers found Klor's video apt and humorous. However, it invited mixed reactions with some blaming the system and others highlighting how despite all the hard work, people still went unemployed in the country."sadly even after studying this hard, so many students struggle to secure a high paying job," wrote one.
