A simple dog walk in Lucknow has somehow turned into one of the internet's favourite videos this week.
The reason? The dog's owner wasn't actually walking alongside his pet.
In the now-viral clip, the man can be seen riding a scooter at a slow pace while his dog casually strolls next to him on a leash. No chaos, no chasing, no pulling. Just a man, his scooter and a very cooperative dog moving down the road like they've done this a hundred times before.
And that's exactly what caught people's attention.
Most pet owners are used to grabbing a leash and heading out on foot. But this Lucknow resident seemed to have his own version of dog walking, and social media couldn't get enough of it. The relaxed vibe of the whole scene made it even funnier. Neither the owner nor the dog looked bothered. If anything, they both looked completely comfortable.
Soon after the video started circulating online, the comments section exploded with jokes.
Many users called it peak "nawabi" behaviour, saying only Lucknow could make something as ordinary as walking a dog look so effortless.
"Only in Lucknow can dog walking have this much royal swag," one user wrote.
Another joked, "This isn't multitasking.
This is Nawabi Pro Max."
Petrol prices also found their way into the conversation. "Fuel is expensive, uncle has created a hybrid dog-walking model," one person commented.
A Hindi comment that got plenty of laughs read, "Isko khud tehelne ki zarurat hai," suggesting the owner himself needed the walk more than the dog.
Instagram users had their own take on the video. One person wrote, "At least his dog walks peacefully. Mine would have dragged me off the scooty within seconds." Another summed up the situation in a single line: "Low effort, full responsibility."
But it wasn't just the owner getting attention. Quite a few people were impressed by the dog's behaviour too. Some joked that the pet had better road sense than many drivers. Others said the trust between the dog and its owner was actually pretty wholesome to watch.
Not everyone found it amusing, though.
A few users pointed out that the man appeared to be riding one-handed and wasn't wearing a helmet. Others wondered whether it was safe for the dog to be walking so close to moving traffic, especially on a busy road.
Still, whether people loved it or questioned it, the video has done what every viral clip aims to do: get everyone talking. And for now, this uniquely Lucknow-style dog walk is winning the internet's attention.
