Tirupati laddu trends after sales cross 5 lakh in a day- here’s what happened

For devotees visiting Tirumala, the Tirupati laddu is more than a sweet. It is something they wait to receive, carry home carefully and share with loved ones. As the new year begins, this famous prasadam has created fresh buzz once again. The Srivari Laddu, offered at the Sri Venkateswara Temple, has seen record sales in 2025, reflecting the strong faith and emotional connect people continue to have with it. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has also been paying extra attention to the ingredients and quality of the laddus.

Record one day sales set a new milestone

TTD shared that laddu sales in 2025 have gone up compared to 2024. The biggest highlight came when 5.13 lakh laddus were sold on December 27, marking the highest single day sale so far. TTD also noted that devotees have been happy with the taste and quality.

Devotees share their experience online

Soon after the update, many users reacted and shared their own views about the laddus.

One user asked about the shelf life and posted, “What is the shelf life of this laddu? Any preservative being added? Earlier, it used to get fungus within a week, nowadays intact even after 2 weeks.”

Another devotee shared a positive experience and said, “Recently, I had brought prasadam and I'm very much satisfied when compared to the previous government. And laddu lasts for almost 6-7 days without getting spoiled. I request TTD keep improving the taste and quality as much as possible, like this.”

A user also commented about the ghee and wrote, “Hope that good quality KMF ghee was used for preparing the laddus.”

And one person made a simple request, saying, “Please increase quantity per head.”
