NEW DELHI: A livid West Bengal chief minister
Mamata Banerjee on Friday slammed BJP for "misusing power" after CBI arrested her transport minister
Madan Mitra in connection with the
Saradha scam.
Mamata charged CBI with "acting as per a sequence" of arrests given by a BJP leader during a recent rally here.
"A few days ago, a BJP leader held a rally in Kolkata. He gave the sequence of arrests.
The CBI is acting as per that sequence," Mamata said.
Calling the arrest a 'bullying tactic by a corrupt CBI', Mamata accused BJP of trying to bulldoze the democratic and secular fabric of the country.
