Record 25 lakh Diyas light-up Ayodhya

Deepotsav 2024 became a historic and grand celebration, marking the first Diwali festivities at Ayodhya’s iconic Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Uttar Pradesh. This monumental event set a new Guinness World Record, illuminating an astounding 25 lakh diyas and featuring a vibrant aarti ceremony with over 1,100 participants.

CM Adityanath reveres Lord Ram in beautifully decked Ayodhya

The entire town was adorned for the event, with music dedicated to Lord Ram resonating from every corner. UP CM Adityanath began by having 'darshan' of Lord Ram before paying his respects at his feet, as stated in a government release.

'After 500 years, Lord Ram is home'

Speaking at Ayodhya's eighth Deepotsav celebration, the first since the consecration of the Ram temple on January 22, Yogi Adityanath remarked, “This is a historic moment, as after 500 years, Lord Ram celebrates Diwali in his abode in Ayodhya.”

Ayodhya sets two Guinness world records in a day

Ayodhya achieved two Guinness World Records on Wednesday. The first record was for the most individuals coordinating the rotation of diyas during the Saryu Aarti, with 1,121 participants.
