NEW DELHI: Delhi Police on Saturdayclaimed to have arrested three terrorists of Hizb-e-Islami in the capital andseized 0.5 kg RDX and Rs 1.10 lakh from them.
While two of theterrorists identified as Ejaz Ahmed Wani and Shabir Ahmed Peer were nabbed inNizamuddin area on May 28, the third Nazir Ahmed Khan was arrested today fromLajpat Rai market area of north Delhi on Saturday, policesaid.
Police recovered 0.5 kgs of RDX from Nazir, who was nabbed soonafter his arrival from Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner of Police Ajay Kumar toldreporters.
Police also seized Rs 60,000 from Wani and Rs 50,000 fromPeer, he said, adding the money was meant for funding militant operations inJammu and Kashmir.
