From Kerala to Punjab: Find which Indian states ranked in food safety list

Kerala has secured the first rank in food safety with 73.75 marks. In 2022, Kerala secured the second position but took the top position last year. Tamil Nadu came second in the food safety ranking. The state got second rank with 67. In 2022, Tamil Nadu had topped the Index, replacing Gujarat at the number one slot. Gujarat who used to top the food ranking came fourth this year with 61.75. Gujarati cuisine varies vastly in terms of flavour and spices.

Punjab came fifth in the food safety ranking with 56.75. Dishes like Sarson Da Saag, Tandoori Chicken, Shami Kebab, Makki di Roti, etc. are some Punjabi dishes that rule over the hearts of all food lovers. (Image credit: Lexica)
