UAE visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted by an enthusiastic Indian diaspora as he went on an official trip to the United Arab Emirates. During this visit, he engaged in discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to advance the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations. Inauguration of the Hindu Temple

During the visit, the PM will also inaugurate the first Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. The Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) temple will open for the public from March 1. The complex includes a visitors’ centre, prayer halls, exhibitions, learning areas, sports area for children and youth, thematic gardens, water features, a food court, book and gift shop and other facilities. Bilateral talks

PM Modi expressed gratitude for the warm welcome as he held bilateral talks with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Both leaders acknowledged the progress and joint partnership between India and the UAE in various fields. Multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were exchanged during the meeting.
