​NEET-UG 2024 Exam row

The National Testing Agency (NTA) faced significant backlash after two of the six exam toppers received scores of 718 and 719, which included compensatory marks. The irregularities led to massive protests by students and other organisations and ultimately forced the NTA to clarify the issue. NTA revealed that 1563 candidates from six different centres were given incorrect question papers. CBI registers FIR in connection with alleged irregularities

Police take accused for medical examination

The six accused arrested in connection with the NEET-UG case today underwent medical examination at LNJP Hospital Patna in Bihar. Bihar Police arrested the accused from Jharkhand's Deoghar on June 21. NEET-UG re-exam today

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted NEET-UG re-examination for 1563 candidates who were affected by time loss but only 813 appeared for the exam and 750 skipped.

17 candidates debarred from today's re-test

A total of 17 NEET-UG candidates were debarred from today's re-examination from centres in Bihar after the detection of malpractice, NTA said. 63 candidates were debarred from all over the country over malpractices. And 30 candidates from centres in Godhra have been debarred. (IANS photo)
