You need only these five skincare products to keep your skin healthy

The mere idea of a complicated and expensive skincare routine can be exhausting to deal with. Not only is it time-consuming, but studies also show that applying multiple products can increase the risk of skin irritation and lead to breakouts. However, taking care of your skin the right way can go a long way. It helps to keep your skin healthy and fight early signs of ageing. To sort it out for you, we have a list of only five products you need for your skin. Here's how you can incorporate them in your daily routine and keep it fuss-free and easy to follow:

A gentle cleanser

Cleansing is the most important step when it comes to achieving healthy skin. Instead of using any fancy skin cleanser, it's best to stick to a gentle cleanser. Look for keywords like 'pH balanced', 'sulfate-free' and 'soap-free' which are gentle on skin. Many experts suggest cleaning your face before going to bed can help to repair your skin at night. This routine is simple and can give great results.

A good moisturiser

A moisturiser should always be selected on the basis of your skin type. People with dry skin need to use a thicker or more hydrating moisturiser, whereas people with oily skin should opt for one that is lightweight, non-greasy, and oil-free. For sensitive skin, go for moisturisers that are free from alcohol and fragrances to prevent breakouts and blemishes. It's best to apply cream twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.

Dirt and grime can collect on the skin and cause dead skin cells. While our skin sheds dead skin cells naturally, but sometimes they don't shed completely. This can cause dry and flaky patches and even block the pores. To prevent this, use a good exfoliator or a scrub that suits your skin type. This product can be used two to three times a day for the removal of superficial dead skin cells.
