James Bond is one of the most recognised literary characters across the world. Created by British author Ian Fleming, the first James Bond novel 'Casino Royale' was written in 1952 followed by 10 more between 1953 to 1966. Fleming's skills honed in his wartime service days and his career as a journalist helped him write the iconic spy stories, which are popular even today both on paper and on screen.
