The Unseen

This is a coming-of-age story about a girl, Ingrid Barrøy, who is born on an island. On growing up, she is sent to the mainland to work for one of the wealthy families on the coast. But when tragedy strikes, Ingrid fights to protect her home which she thought she had left far behind.

Compass

The story is of an insomniac musicologist Franz Ritter who in his sick delirium spends a restless night recalling the most important chapters of his life--from his fascination with the Middle East to his travels to Istanbul, Aleppo, Damascus, and Tehran and the numerous people from all walks of life whom he met on his adventures. The center of all these memories is his unrequitted love Sarah, a fierce French scholar, who is embroiled in the tensions of Europe and the Middle East.

Judas

A coming-of-age novel, Judas tells the story of Shmuel Ash, a young, idealist student, who is drawn to a strange house to work as a caregiver to an old man Gershom Wald. Shmuel meets Atalia Abarbanel, the daughter of a deceased Zionist leader, who is in her forties. He is then forced to rethink his perception about the beginning of religion.
