Timeless wedding fashion

When it comes to wedding fashion, Prateik and Priya certainly raised the bar. For the occasion, Priya stunned in an ivory and gold lehenga by renowned designer Tarun Tahiliani. The lehenga, adorned with intricate threadwork and embroidery, showcased the artistry of Indian craftsmanship. She paired the lehenga with a structured corset and a sheer dupatta, which elevated her regal aura. To complete her bridal look, Priya opted for exquisite kundan jewellery by Khurana Jewellery House, including a maangtika, a choker-style necklace, statement earrings, and delicate bangles. Her minimal makeup allowed her natural beauty to shine, ensuring she could enjoy her big day with ease.

Prateik, not to be outdone, exuded modern traditional charm in a classic ivory sherwani. The open sherwani, styled with a signature draped shirt and a dhoti set, effortlessly blended contemporary and traditional aesthetics. He added a layered pearl necklace that gave him an ethereal, almost royal look, making him the perfect match for his stunning bride.

A heartfelt ceremony

After years of love and togetherness, Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee have officially tied the knot, and their wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. The couple shared glimpses of their intimate, dreamy wedding ceremony on social media, radiating warmth and love. Their post, “I’ll marry you in every lifetime #priyaKAprateik,” perfectly encapsulated their deep bond.

3/5

A wedding at home

Their ceremony, held at the home of late actress Smita Patil in Bandra, Mumbai, was a beautiful tribute to the actress and a nod to Prateik’s mother. The couple expressed a desire for a “ghar ki shaadi” (a wedding at home), making the day even more special.

4/5

A dreamy wedding setting

The wedding was minimalist yet regal, with ivory and white hues dominating the colour palette. The mandap was adorned with fresh white flowers and lush green foliage, adding to the dreamy atmosphere of the ceremony.

5/5

Timeless wedding fashion

Together, Prateik and Priya proved that wedding fashion doesn’t need to be over-the-top to be memorable, sometimes, simplicity and tradition create the most magical moments.
