Walking in with a plot twist

As the lights turned red and energy ran high, the crowd went wild with Hamza Ali Mazari, aka Ranveer Singh, walking in with a crazy liveliness that surely raised the adrenaline rush. He was soon joined by his co-star, Yalina, aka Sara Arjun, and both of them blurred the lines between reel and real and stole the show in their stunning, fashionable ensembles. Standing far from the aesthetics of method dressing, they walked in with a plot twist, where every element of their outfits seemed intentional, carrying a rebellious mood.

Ranveer in his signature energy

Ranveer Singh, who is known for his method-dressing aesthetic at film promotions, changed the narrative and settled in for a rebellious look, which also sat perfectly with the narrative of the film. He wore an edgy black leather biker jacket with asymmetrical zip detailing and layered it over a white graphic T-shirt. Completing the look with a relaxed-fitted pair of black pants and heavy-duty tactical boots, which were ruggedly tucked into his trousers. Ranveer completed the look with a pair of thick-framed dark sunglasses and a sleek silver chain.

Why did his look surprise the audience?

Ranveer Singh is mostly seen embracing method dressing at his promotional events. Whether he’s wearing a flared gender-neutral anarkali for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ promotions or a dhoti and sherwani jacket for ‘Ram Leela’, his energy comes through his ensembles, which are loved by the audience. And Hamza Ali Mazari's character in ‘Dhurandhar’ was not just loved but felt by the audience. So, his fans were expecting the actor to be in a charismatic Pathani suit, but this rugged biker look was perfect to hint at his rebel attitude, indicating it’s time for revenge and is absolutely wild, as his second character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, is all set to make a grand entrance in Part 2 of the blockbuster.

Did Sara Arjun say NO to ethnics?

At ‘Dhurandhar 2's' music launch, Sara Arjun looked radiant in a stunning contemporary three-piece suit picked from AK-OK by Anamika Khanna. She wore a black crop top with a matching, full-length, sleek skirt and added a hint of banging colour with a long, full-length, oversized jacket which featured vibrant and chaotic flowers painted all over it. She completed the look with a stunning pair of pumps, sleek, straight locks, and beautiful, subtle makeup and definitely kept things carefree, saying NO to all accessories.

Has she also left the fans speechless?

Well, Sara Arjun’s character Yalina in the ‘Dhurandhar’ series showcases a 20-year-old girl who has a soft-spoken aura with a rebellious streak in front of her lover. Well, in the second season, she must choose sides and play along the lines, where she was earlier seen promoting the film in beautiful traditional ensembles and quietly played her part. But this time her character will probably unveil its shades and create chaos, which will be challenging and unexpected to watch. So, leaving her soft girl era in subtle ethnics, she chose to slay in a more contemporary setting, giving us a ‘wait and watch’ attitude, and we truly love it.
