Fresh off their glamorous wedding year, Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc and Alexandra just made their first official couple appearance at the iconic Cannes Film Festival. The duo attended the premiere of ‘La Vie D’Une Femme’, and the internet is already calling the moment one of the French Riviera’s most stylish power moves. Swapping his Formula 1 paddocks for the red carpet flashbulbs, the newlyweds arrived in sophisticated luxury pieces, serving peak Monacan royalty energy.
An Armani tux can never go wrong
For his first red carpet appearance, he wore a black Giorgio Armani tuxedo and accessorised it with a jaw-dropping diamond-encrusted brooch, shaped like a branch, and showed off his new wedding band. With messy Italian-style hair and black dress shoes, he added a classic tuxedo bow and was seen walking hand-in-hand with his new bride.

For her part, Alexandra stole the show
Well, most of the flashes were on Alexandra Saint Mleux, who wore a customised Paolo Sebastian dress. Her fit featured a strapless gown with a nude tulle bustier and tiers of gold scalloped satin, which gave rich old-money value. Decorated with gold netting, rhinestones, and intricate floral appliqué, this was not a shimmery dress but an iconic red carpet madness.

If you think it was the dress that did the part, then you’re mistaken, as it was Alexandra’s subtle styling and, of course, her roaring confidence. She glowed under the lights, carrying a sleek mid-parting hairdo, and chose a clean-girl-aesthetic makeup with glossy nude lips and defined eyebrows.

The duo served a polished and old-money glam edge that Cannes thrives on. But the Indian crowd lost it when the duo shared the stage with Bollywood’s beauty queen, Alia Bhatt. Alia and Charles are the new faces of L’Oréal Paris and are the active global ambassadors of the beauty label. In a clip doing the rounds on the internet, the duo can be seen greeting each other on the stairs of the iconic Cannes, which instantly made the internet go crazy.
