Rashmika Mandanna’s reception look is pure bridal royalty

Photos and videos from Rashmika Mandanna’s Hyderabad wedding reception have been all over the internet since last night. And honestly, it’s not hard to see why. The actor showed up looking every bit like a classic South Indian bride, elegant and graceful without trying too hard.

For the evening, Rashmika leaned into a look that felt deeply traditional but still fresh. Nothing flashy. Nothing over the top. Just quiet, old-world bridal charm.

The deep red Mysore silk saree that stole the spotlight

For the reception, Rashmika wore a custom ensemble from JADE by MK. The label is known for detailed handwork, and this outfit was no different. The saree featured delicate silver and gold taar embroidery inspired by traditional Indian patterns.

The craft behind the work comes from the artisans of Chanakya International, an institution that has been preserving heritage embroidery techniques for decades. So the piece wasn’t just beautiful - it carried a bit of history in its threads.

The highlight, though, was the deep red Mysore silk saree itself. Red has always been a favourite bridal shade, and this one felt timeless. Rich gold zari ran along the border, giving the saree that classic festive glow.

But there was also a detail many people might miss at first glance. The design quietly featured the Gandaberunda motif - the two-headed mythical bird associated with Mysore royalty. It appeared within the embroidery in silver taar plated with gold. A small touch, but one that subtly connected the look to Rashmika’s roots.

Hair, makeup, and a refreshingly simple approach

The styling stayed beautifully restrained. Rashmika wore her hair in a neat centre-parted braid decorated with fresh flowers, the kind of hairstyle that instantly reminds you of traditional South Indian weddings.

And the makeup followed the same idea. Soft, glowing skin. Kohl-lined eyes. A muted lip colour. Nothing dramatic. The goal clearly wasn’t to overpower the outfit or jewellery.

And it worked.

Jewellery that carried a story of its own

The jewellery came from SHREE Jewellers and added another layer of drama to the look. Rashmika wore a statement necklace, a traditional oddiyanam (waist belt), bold earrings, lotus-patterned bangles, and a delicate hathphool.

Several of these pieces echoed the Gandaberunda symbol seen in the saree. So the theme quietly ran through the entire look.

At the centre of it all was the Peacock Fountain necklace. This piece was crafted using traditional Nakshi artistry, where sculpted peacocks curved around a fountain-like design. The idea behind it was abundance and royalty - themes often seen in heritage jewellery.

Gold droplets hung in cascading layers, giving the necklace a fluid movement whenever she turned her head.

Emeralds, rubies, and intricate details

The necklace was set with emeralds and customised Burma rubies placed in classic Kundan work. The gemstones added depth to the piece, bringing rich green and red tones against the gold.

Her oddiyanam carried the same design language along the waistline. Inspired again by the Gandaberunda motif, the belt followed sweeping curves that framed the sari beautifully.

Every piece spoke volumes

The earrings mirrored the avian theme, while the bangles brought in lotus patterns highlighted with ruby accents. And finally, the hathphool tied the whole jewellery story together at the hands.

Every piece felt connected. Nothing random.

Vijay Deverakonda’s look kept things classic

While most eyes were on Rashmika, Vijay Deverakonda kept things equally traditional. He wore a coordinated ensemble from the same label, featuring an angavastram detailed with the Gaja-Kesari motif, a symbol historically linked with strength and royalty.

Together, their outfits quietly celebrated heritage craftsmanship.

From Udaipur wedding to Hyderabad celebration

Rashmika and Vijay had tied the knot earlier on February 26, 2026, in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The Hyderabad reception on March 4 was their first big celebration with friends and colleagues from the film industry. Naturally, it turned into a star-studded evening.

But even with all the glamour around, Rashmika’s look stood out for a simple reason. It felt rooted in tradition. Elegant without trying too hard. And very much her style.
