Sobhita Dhulipala’s New Year saree moment in Manish Malhotra’s zari weave is all about grace and royal poise

The combination of gold with a saree always gives a goddess attitude, where timeless beauty Sobhita Dhulipala rules the scene. The diva recently wore a stunning handwoven tissue silk saree from Manish Malhotra’s collection, which looked absolutely charming. From catching the light at the most perfect angle to the zardozi border detailing, this six yards of grace is perfect for every occasion.

The gold-toned saree had a soft, shiny texture, with the weave catching light beautifully. The plain metallic edge created a perfect visual border, ensuring the saree looked anything but basic.

She completed the look with a matching blouse featuring a round neckline and elbow-length sleeves with dense zardozi embroidery. The detailing sat perfectly low on the arms, drawing attention outward and balancing the open neckline.






The real highlight was her stunning pallu, which featured large floral motifs in heavier zardozi work that blended perfectly against the lighter tissue base. Her gold saree looked quite similar to her golden silk wedding saree, which also carried a similar edge and resembled something straight out of Mani Ratnam’s period drama.

She amplified the look with Manish Malhotra’s High Jewellery, wearing an emerald and polki choker necklace that sat high on her collarbone and became the focal point. She completed the ensemble with matching floral stud earrings and a single ring mirror, which offered the perfect heirloom touch.
