The wishes and prayers of Gudda’s well-wishers are definitely working. The doctors at Medanta Medicity, confirm Gudda’s stable condition and fast recovery on day four of his stay at the hospital. Dr Pravesh Chandra, chairman of interventional cardiology, at Medanta, said, “He’s looking even better today. Rather cheerful and he’s recovering fast. His medication is decreasing with every new sign of improvement that is visible.
The test reports show positive signs too. Though he’s still in the ICU, hopefully, he should be out of it in another two-three days. It will take five to seven days to discharge him.”
While visitors are not allowed to meet him, Dr Chandra insists, “even after he’s moved out of ICU, whether he’ll be allowed to meet people or not will depend on his condition.”
Still, how can friends stop pouring in? So Gudda’s friend and designer Reynu Taandon too went down to extend her wishes. She says, “I stayed outside with the family, but even that was good enough as long as I got positive reports from them. I was told he’s out of danger and doing fine. I so hope he’s back to being fit and fine, and his cheerful self again.”
Meanwhile, the whole family is with Gudda in the hospital. Aruna Bal, Gudda’s sister, sounding relaxed says, “We know Gudda’s in good hands. So that’s one worry less. Now we’re just playing it cool, while also praying that all remains fine. Everyday there’s a new improvement. It’s everyone’s good wishes that are working.” Pensively she adds, “Nobody is allowed to meet him right now, but we keep getting calls and receiving visitors, who’re wishing good for him.”
