Perhaps one of the most path-breaking American designers, Louis Vuitton's Artistic Director passed away on Sunday, after a long battle with cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare type of cancer. Partnership with Kanye West
Virgil intern at Fendi alongside Kanye West in 2009 and that was the beginning of a creative collaboration that will be spoken about in the years to come. It was the duo's disrubtive design vibe that made Louis Vuitton CEO Michael Burke take notice of them.

Virgil changed the way people looked at street style and fashion by marrying the two in the most stunning way and bringing the amalgmation to the ramp.
Launching Off White
The designing great launched a Milan-based label Off-White, in 2012. He defined it as "grey area between black and white as Off-White" and came up with some great couture.
Post Modern Scholarship Fund
In 2020, Abloh announced that he had raised as much as USD 1 million to support Black students' fashion education under his Virgil Abloh Post-Modern Scholarship Fund, in collaboration with the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF).

He designed the cover of Drake's private plane - a Boeing 767 in 2020 as part of Abloh Engineering. Who would've thought a fashion designer could do that too?
