Beetroot Chaat


To make this, simply dice boiled beetroot and toss it with chaat masala, lemon juice, onions, and coriander. One can add curd, pomegranate, and sev on top.

This is a healthy treat, where you layer whole wheat bread with grated beetroot, sprouts, and a light yogurt-mint spread. Toast it with ghee or butter and enjoy with ketchup.

To make this steamed delight, mix chickpea flour and beetroot batter, spiced with green chilies and ginger and some baking soda. Top it with a tempering of curry leaves, mustard seeds, and green chilli.

For this deep-fried snack, you need mashed beetroot mixed with boiled potatoes, peas, boiled and mashed carrots and spices. Shape them into cutlets and then roll into breadcrumbs. One can also lightly pan-fry in minimal oil.

This no-cook dish required raw beetroot sticks which are paired with a homemade chickpea and hummus hummus dip, topped with grated beetroot and boiled chickpeas too.
