Easy cocktail recipes to amp up your New Year’s party

With New Year around the corner, it is the perfect time to celebrate the merry time with friends and family. What’s better than making some homemade cocktails and enjoying them together? The below given recipes will not only amp up your New Year’s party but will also impress your guests. So, get your hands on some booze and prepare these easy yet tempting cocktails.

​Cranberry Margarita

Ingredients required- Juice of 1 orange, juice 1 lime, 200ml tequila, 200ml cranberry juice, 50ml triple sec and ice cubes.

For glass decor- 1 tsp clear honey, 1 tbsp orange zest, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp granulated sugar,

Method-

  1. Use a brush to paint a thin layer of honey around 4 margarita glasses. Now, mix orange zest, sugar and salt in a saucer. Turn the glasses upside down and dip in the saucer.
  2. Now, take a cocktail shaker. Add the orange juice, tequila, lime juice, cranberry juice and triple sec in it. Shake well to combine.
  3. Strain the mixture and pour into glasses. Add ice cubes and serve.

​Midnight Martini

Ingredients required- 45 ml espresso vodka, 15 ml coffee liqueur, 5 ml cinnamon syrup and a cinnamon stick for garnishing.

Method-

  1. Take a cocktail shaker, add some ice cubes, then pour the espresso vodka, coffee liqueur and cinnamon syrup in it. Shake well to combine all ingredients.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

​Twinkle Champagne Cocktail

Ingredients required- 30 ml vodka, 15 ml champagne, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 sugar cube and 1 raspberry.

Method-

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with vodka, champagne and lemon juice. Give 3-4 shakes. Don’t shake much as the champagne might lose its sparkle.
  2. Now pour in a champagne flute glass, add a sugar cube, raspberry and serve.

​Pomegranate Poinsettia

Ingredients required- 40 ml pomegranate juice, 15 ml triple sec, 40 ml sparkling wine and some pomegranate seeds.

Method-

  1. Pour pomegranate juice and triple sec in a champagne flute.
  2. Now add sparkling wine in the glass to form layers.
  3. Add the final touch by garnishing with pomegranate seeds and serve.

​Silver Sangria

Ingredients required- 6 ounces light rum, 3 ounces peach schnapps, 3 ounces sour apple liqueur, 3 ounces fresh lemon juice, 6 ounces fresh lime juice, 6 ounces lime soda, 1/2 cup sugar, 6 fresh limes wheels, for garnish, 1 cup diced green apple and ½ cup diced peach cubes.

Method-

  1. Take a big pitcher, add all the ingredients in it.
  2. Add a cup of ice and stir well.
  3. Pour into glasses and enjoy. This batch of Silver Sangria will easily serve 6-8 people.

​Bloody Mary Cocktail

Ingredients required- 4 fluid ounces tomato juice, 1 ½ fluid ounces vodka, ¼ fluid ounce fresh lemon juice, 4 dashes hot pepper sauce, 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce, 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper, 1 cup ice cubes and some celery for garnish.

Method-

  1. Fill a goblet with a cup of ice and set it aside.
  2. Combine tomato juice, vodka, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper in a mixing glass. Stir until combined and strain into the goblet.
  3. Pour into glasses, garnish with celery and enjoy.
