Corn and tortillas are a staple in Mexican cuisine and a mix of both can be relished in this dish. Montados is a delicious corn flour quesadilla stuffed with minced meat, refried beans, and Mennonite cheese.

​Tostilocos


These popular crispy tortilla chips can be found across the country. Crispy chips topped with various ingredients that give it an acidic and spicy touch. What makes it so special is the use of Valentina sauce, which is a fiery blend of chili, lemon, and vinegar.

​Memelas, State of Oaxaca


Memelas is basically a corn dough “plate” cooked on a griddle till it turns crispy and crunchy. The dish is then smeared with lard, called Asiento, refried beans, and is then topped with fresh cheese. This is definitely an experience you need to try.

​Esquites


This Mexican snack is made with tender corn kernels and its broth, which is then mixed with chili, lemon, butter, mayonnaise, and fresh cheese on top served in Epazote, which gives it a classic flavour and taste.

​Elote Chorreado


This is one of the most popular street foods of Mexico as it is a delicious amalgamation of Esquites, Nachos, and Chilaquiles. Popularly sold outside the churches and parks, this is available in several variations.

​Tlayuda


This Mexican-style pizza, Tlayuda is prepared with a huge and crispy tortilla, smeared with Asiento, refried beans, and local cheese known as Oaxaca cheese. Topped with avocado, fresh tomato, and marinated pork meat called cecina. A dish with a particular smoky, spicy touch.
