Why to eat these vegetables


It is important to eat seasonal vegetables. They are fresh produce of the season and offer numerous health benefits as well. Dimple Jangda, a wellness and nutrition expert, recently shared the list of vegetables of the season on Instagram, the right way of eating them, and their health benefits. String beans

According to Dimple, string beans are the perfect antidote for diabetes. You can literally take some of these, boil it in water, and make a string bean tea. It is equal to one insulin shot.

Pumpkin


As per Dimple, if you’re prone to constipation or weight loss, pumpkin is great. It has good fats in it. The best way to consume it is to make a soup out of it with some black pepper.

Coriander leaves


According to Dimple, it helps in detoxifying heavy metals out of your body. You can make a chutney or a curry out of it. You can even make juice out of it. It is great for thyroid health as well.

Fenugreek leaves


As per Dimple, you can put the fresh leaves in parathas or in rotis. You can even make a bhaji or a sabji or a side dish out of it. It’s great for purifying your blood, preventing sugar spikes and great for your diabetic health.

Spinach

It is a rich source of iron, folate, vitamin A, vitamin C. It is great for women’s health. Make sure to have a spinach soup or blanch it in hot water and add to dough. Don’t consume this raw in the form of a juice, warns Dimple.

Peppers

As per Dimple, peppers are a rich source of vitamin C. They reduce oxidative stress in the body. They help reduce inflammation and improve immunity. One can make soup or sabzi with them.

Carrots

According to Dimple, they are great for eye health. One can consume them raw or they can be added to soups and salads as well.
