Ghaziabad juice seller found mixing urine in fresh fruit juice
Fresh fruit juice is said to boost immunity and metabolism. But, what if your juice is adulterated with urine? Sounds disgusting? Well, it is true. In a shocking incident, in Ghaziabad’s Loni Border area, a juice shop was found mixing urine with juices sold to customers. Scroll down to read the details.
As per reports, Aamir Khan, owner of Khushi Juice Corner, and his assistant were beaten badly by locals on the allegation of mixing urine in juice and serving it to customers.
Later, police reached the spot and arrested the juice shop owner and his assistant. This incident has created a stir in the entire area.
As per a video doing rounds on social media, local people caught the juice shop owner doing the act and started beating him and his assistant. The police are now investigating the reason behind such a bizarre act of the juice seller.
While the incident has once again raised eyebrows on hygiene levels of street food, it is also important to understand what will happen if you drink urine accidently.
What is urine?
Urine is composed of fluid and waste products that your body doesn’t need. While water makes up 91 to 96 percent of the urine, the rest is made from salts, ammonia, and byproducts produced during normal body processes.
Side effects of urine
Urine contains waste products that have been filtered out of your bloodstream. Although they’re called toxins, these waste products aren’t exactly toxic. However, they are highly concentrated and as per experts, your body is trying to get rid of these, because if they stay in the body, they do harm. It is said that drinking urine reintroduces concentrated waste products into your system. This forces the kidneys to filter them out again, causing unnecessary strain.
