Right way to make Besan Pyaz Ka Paratha


Besan Pyaz Ka Paratha is a healthy and protein-rich delight that can be easily made at home. And if you are someone who loves to begin even the summer mornings with a loaded paratha, which is easy of the gut, then this simple paratha recipe is for you. Take a look.

Ingredients


1 cup wheat flour, salt to taste, 1 tsp ghee, 1 green chilli, 1 tsp ginger, 2 small onion, 1/2 tsp coriander seeds, 1/4 tsp fennel seeds, 2 tsp ghee, 1/4 tsp carom seeds, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/4 cup besan, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp dry mango powder, 1/4 tsp kasuri methi, a pinch of black salt, 2 tsp coriander leaves, and ghee for cooking

Add flour, salt and ghee in a mixing bowl.

Add water to knead a soft dough, cover and set it aside.

For the filling, finely chop onion, chili, coriander leaves and add to a deep mixing bowl.

To this, add besan, spices and ghee. Combine well to make a spicy stuffing.

Divide the dough into small balls and fill each ball with 2 tsp of the stuffing.

Roll out parathas using a rolling pin and flour dust. In the meantime, preheat the tawa.

Step 7


Place the paratha on the tawa, cook it using enough ghee on both sides. Once ready, serve hot with curd and pickle on the side.
